Ethnico started with a simple cup of coffee and a shared connection.
Our founder, Carlos, and his wife first met over coffee, sparking not only a relationship but also a passion for the art of brewing at home.
Having lived in Colombia and Guatemala, they visited countless coffee farms, learned about the hard work behind each bean, and, of course, drank a lot of great coffee!
When they moved to the UK, they were surprised by how many people brewed instant coffeeat home yet didn’t hesitate to pay £4-6 for a takeaway cup.
We believe the UK deserves better than instant coffee. Why not brew the best coffee at home and enjoy the experience without the need for a takeaway cup?

We partner with responsible farmers and a roaster committed to zero waste and carbon neutrality.
Our packaging is fully compostable or recyclable, and unlike many brands, we don’t sell coffee pods because they’re bad for the environment.
We’re passionate about helping you brew the best coffee possible at home. That’s why we focus on single-origin beans—we don’t blend, and we don’t grind.
Grinding coffee in advance diminishes its flavor over time, so we recommend investing in a grinder and grinding your beans fresh for every cup.
Freshly ground beans unlock a depth of flavor you just can’t get from pre-ground or instant coffee.
