Refund policy
At Ethnico Coffee, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase. If for any reason you are not entirely happy with your order, our Refund and Returns Policy will guide you through the process of returning items or requesting a refund.
1. Conditions for Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges
- You have the right to cancel your order and return products within 14 days of receiving them, in accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
- To be eligible for a refund or exchange, the item must be unopened, unused, and in the same condition that you received it. The product must also be in its original packaging.
- If you wish to exchange a product, we will do our best to provide a suitable replacement, subject to product availability.
2. Eligible Products
- Coffee Products: All unopened and unused coffee products (e.g., whole beans, ground coffee) are eligible for return.
- Non-perishable Items: Accessories such as grinders, brewing tools, and other non-coffee products may be returned if they are unused and in original packaging.
3. Non-returnable Products
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for:
- Perishable goods such as opened coffee bags or any product that has been used or tampered with.
- Personalized items (e.g., custom orders or items with unique engravings).
- Gift cards.
4. Return Shipping Costs
- If you are returning an item due to a change of mind, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
- If the return is due to a faulty, damaged, or incorrect product, Ethnico Coffee will cover the return shipping costs.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
5. How to Initiate a Return or Refund
To initiate a return or request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email us at returns@ethnicocoffee.com with your order number, details of the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
- Return Authorization: Once we have reviewed your request, we will send you instructions on how to proceed, including the return shipping address.
- Return the Item: Pack the item securely in its original packaging and ship it to the provided address. Ensure that the item is returned within 14 days of your cancellation request.
- Inspection and Refund: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you via email. If the return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.
6. Exceptions
- Damaged or Defective Items: If you receive a product that is damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at returns@ethnicocoffee.com with photos and details of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or refund, as appropriate.
- Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received your refund after 10 business days, please check with your bank or credit card company. If you still haven’t received your refund, contact us at hello@ethnicocoffee.com.
